We love kids and wanted them to be a part of our wedding as much as possible. Of course, remembering when we were kids, wedding food wasn’t the greatest, and receptions always seemed kinda long to us.
To make the reception more enjoyable for kids and their parents, we originally planned to have a professional childcare service on hand in a separate room to watch and entertain all kids ages 0-12. However, due to the low number of kids our guests brought to the wedding, we decided to cancel the childcare service and have the kids sit with us in the main room. They got to sit at their own special table (near their parents).
Our caterer prepared a special menu for the kids, and served them separately from the adults. The buffet menu consists of the following:
- Oven-fried chicken tenders with honey mustard and ketchup
- Macaroni and cheese
- Vegetable crudité with ranch dressing
- Garlic bread topped with mozzarella cheese
- Assorted juices and water
