Download three maps that might be helpful to print and have with you when you’re here in San Francisco:

The following directions are extracted from the detailed map of the Presidio. They are general instructions intended to guide you to the Presidio Chapel and Golden Gate Club where the ceremony and reception took place.

From the EAST

via the Lombard Gate

Take the Fremont Street exit from the Bay Bridge. Cross Market St, then turn left on Pine St. Cross Van Ness Ave, then turn right on Franklin Street. Left on Lombard St, stay in left lane. Follow signs toward the Presidio, use the left hand turn lane (after Broderick St) to stay on Lombard. Enter the Presidio at Lombard Gate. At second stop sign, turn right on Presidio Blvd. Continue on Lincoln Blvd. Left on Montgomery St. Right on Sheridan Ave. At the three-way intersection, turn left on Fisher Loop before Sheridan becomes Lincoln Ave. If you see the National Cemetery to your left, you’ve gone too far.

From the SOUTH

via the Arguello Gate

Take 101 North to 380 West to 280 North towards San Francisco. On 280, stay left to exit 19th Ave. Cross Lincoln Way, pass through Golden Gate Park. 19th Ave becomes Park Presidio Blvd. Right on California St. Left on Arguello Blvd. Enter the Presidio at Arguello Gate. Follow Arguello Blvd downhill to first stop sign. Left on Moraga Ave. Right on Infantry Terrace. Left on Fisher Loop. If you see the National Cemetery to your left, you’ve gone too far.

From the NORTH

via the Golden Gate Bridge

Stay to the right coming across the bridge. Use the far right toll lane. Immediately after the toll plaza, take the first right on Merchant Ave by the bus stop. Merchant Ave ends at Lincoln Blvd. Left on Lincoln, follow its windy path through the park. After the National Cemetery, right on Infantry Terrace. Then another immediate right on Fisher Loop.
